To learn more about Habitat for Humanity and the work we are doing to end the cycle of poverty, please register for our volunteer orientation.  If you are not available on Tuesdays, contact us, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. 

ReStore Volunteers 
Habitat operates a store at 1421 E. 15th Street in Fayetteville that sells donated used and recycled building materials.  Volunteers are needed for sales, merchandise display, pricing, donation pick-up, and other projects. 

The store hours are:
Monday – Saturday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Must be 16 years old or accompanied by an adult.
If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, please click on “volunteer now” to register and sign up for a shift in the ReStore.  For groups of 5-10 please call the ReStore to schedule your project.


Construction Volunteers

When:
We are currently working most Thursdays and Saturdays.  Please click on "Volunteer Now" to see open dates.  If you have a group that would like to schedule or reserve a specific date please contact us: 479-575-9696 or michelle@habitat.arcoxmail.com

Skills Required:
No specific skills are needed, except a willingness to learn.  Habitat provides a site coordinator who will provide any on-the-job training needed.

What to Bring:
Most important is a willingness to work!  If you have basic tools, for example a tool belt, a hammer or gloves, you may wish to bring them.  Please label all of your tools with your name.  Wear safe, closed-toed shoes.  


Our committees

Family Support Committee
The Family Support Committee is looking for people with good social/people skills to partner with our new families to assist them during the process of becoming a homeowner.

Fund Development Committee
If you are a person with an interest in marketing, fundraising, event planning, grant writing, etc., the Fund Development Committee welcomes you to join them in helping our affiliate meet the fiscal needs to continue our mission.

Family Selection Committee
The Family Selection Committee is responsible for the interviews and review of families seeking homeownership.

Public Relations Committee
The Public Relations Committee is responsible for getting our message to the public -- working to make the community aware of who we are and what we are doing.

Faith Relations Committee
This committee is made up of representatives from many local churches. The members serve as a liaison between Habitat and their church to help the church partner with us through volunteers, prayers, and financial support.  In addition this committee helps further the Habitat Mission by reaching out to new faith partners for Habitat.
